Katelyn Cameron

I'm a hydrogeology M.S. student in the Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences. Before returning to grad school, I spent over ten years as a project geologist at EA Engineering, where I led deep well drilling programs and Phase I–III remedial action and site investigations. That field experience is what's driving my research now — I'm building on the department's ongoing work to develop a conceptual site model and further investigate geochemical interactions in fractured media.

Originally from Canada, I've spent most of my life in Michigan and Montana. I'm a combat veteran, an avid rockhound, and a mom to a pitbull named Rooster James Cogburn. You can usually find me on my Ducati or down by the lake, chasing the fish of a thousand casts.
