I am a geoscientist whose research focuses on the physics of flow and reactive transport in porous and fractured media. One of my favorite quotes is, “Thinking is the hardest thing a man can do, probably the reason so few of them do it.” by Henry Ford. It is a quote I frequently remind myself of in order to keep challenging myself and become a better scientist and person. I strive to lead my group by example, with a deep passion for nurturing and inspiring the next generation of scientists. The time I spend with my two beautiful children, particularly in nature, is a great source of joy and inspiration for me.
I currently teach the following courses: Fluid Earth Dynamics (ESCI 3202), General Hydrogeology (ESCI 4702), Field Hydrogeology Field Camp (4971W/5971), Fractured Rock Hydrogeology (ESCI 5980), and Subsurface Carbon Storage (ESCI 5980/CEGE 5180).
